There are A LOT of natural products on the market but I have learned to always be wary of labels. For example, a food product may say ‘organic’ on the label, but can be made up of 30% inorganic material*. So do your research before investing in something that may or may not be true to the label.
Cost has also been a factor for me. I shop for deals. I use coupons. I do not want to pay $25 for “all natural” laundry detergent that will last me a week. And while I am a big proponent of all the wonderful Young Living products available, I am also a realist. And with the amount of kitchen spray I use, I always find it good to have a homemade backup!
So this section of the site is dedicated to two things: (1) awesome tested and approved products to buy and (2) cheap and easy homemade products.
*When looking at food products, make sure to find a label that reads 100% organic AND contains the USDA organic seal. Products that contain both these elements are the real deal.
